We have been monitoring the rapidly changing situation with regard to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our top priority is to ensure the welfare of our employees, our customers and our clients, whilst also endeavouring to maintain the level of service you have come to expect. The recent advice from the government has resulted in us evoking our remote working contingency plan and this is currently underway with a number of staff now changing to a home working environment. We have been testing this over the previous two weeks and following this successful phase we are now deploying more staff into this working environment.

At the moment, it is business as normal for Centrick. However, we are taking steps to mitigate the impact of the changing situation in-line with guidance from UK authorities and we will update you in due course should there be unavoidable changes to our service.

If you live in one of our managed blocks – you should see little change in the day to day services. Evidently we are heavily dependent on our supply chain to deliver repair and maintenance services and if a particular contractor is affected we will endeavour to instruct an alternative supplier. Your property manager is completely home-based but will still be contactable and conducting site visits where possible. Some of our supporting teams are also migrating to a home-working environment and whilst we will continue to provide a telephone service we would recommend you log into https://centrick.co.uk/im-a-property-owner/ to log any issues or receive updates for ongoing issues. For our larger developments where there is a higher density population we are arranging for additional intensive cleans to high contact areas on a frequent basis, communal living environments will present a challenge but if we all play our part responsibly we can help minimise the impact together.

If you are a tenant that either rents through us or rents in a block managed by us – Our tenancy services team are in a planned home working rotation to minimise presence in the office. The systems we have in place will allow for little change your service delivery, however we do urge you to log any requests via https://centrick.co.uk/im-a-tenant/

I want to rent/buy a property through Centrick – As you will appreciate the ability to view properties is becoming more of a challenge as it would typically involve high levels of close contact. Where a property is currently void we can continue to arrange physical visits if you so wish. For properties where this is not possible we will, in most cases, be able to provide video viewings.
