Residential property investment expert Centrick Invest has expanded with the appointment of a new team operating in the key territories of Hong Kong, Singapore and across the Far East.
Partner agents John Treacy and Siôn Bennett have joined Birmingham-headquartered Centrick Invest and will be helping investors across the globe to invest in UK residential property.
John and Siôn have considerable expertise and experience in property investment. John has been helping expats to invest in property for many years and has held key senior positions at notable property firms including SevenCapital.
Siôn developed his passion for property during his nine-year rugby career, where UK property was widely considered a stable, secure avenue beyond professional sports. Siôn’s first-hand experience helps him to guide and support clients from the ‘idea stage’ through to completion, with the continuous goal of building a strong property portfolio.
New homes and investments director Andy Butts said:
“The appointment of John and Siôn marks the start of phase two of the growth of Centrick Invest. They are both well-established agents with excellent links with investors based in Hong Kong, UAE, Singapore and across Asia. “We have a longstanding relationship with them both and we all felt now was the right time to bring them on board as we look to expand our business further. In the UK, our team will source and vet high quality apartments at developments in key locations all of which must pass extensive due diligence, while John and Siôn will work closely with wealth managers, investment brokers and other investors in the Far East.”

He added:
“They will spearhead our Asia presence and will share Centrick Invest’s wealth of knowledge of UK lettings, sales and the mortgage market. “Centrick Invest has already sold over 70 apartments to investors this year. Our target for next year is 150. We will be looking at key towns and cities including Birmingham and Manchester and working with solid developers in good locations, sourcing properties that attract very good rental demand and yields.”

The appointments mark the start of phase two of the growth of Centrick Invest. The Centrick brand has been well received in Asia where it is seen as a one-stop-shop for developers and investors, providing an end-to-end service, from furnishing to renting and managing the property, added Andy.
The Birmingham-based team, which launched its investment offering earlier this year, has agreed more than 70 residential investment sales since April, with the majority sold to investors in the Middle East and Far East.
Centrick Invest was launched in late 2022. It is a new service designed to ensure that property owners – ranging from accidental landlords to major investors – are squeezing every pound, dirham, euro or dollar of value out of their portfolios. Centrick Invest helps by demystifying the jargon-fuelled property landscape, even for many that have existing property investments, ensuring developments are fully stress-tested against an extensive due diligence process and explores the reality of how properties are performing now and into the future.
Centrick has grown consistently since its inception by successfully prioritising innovation, expertise, and building trusted relationships with its clients to deliver high quality service and results. First opening its doors in 2005, the agency now has over 20,000 properties across the UK on its books and manages over £3 billion in client assets.
Centrick’s vision is simple, “To make customers’ lives better everyday, the Centrick way” and for almost 20 years Centrick has nurtured, driven and grown its team by delivering industry leading service. Centrick prides itself on being a company of knowledgeable industry experts with a trusted, joined-up approach to all aspects of residential property. Innovation is at the heart of everything it does, helping it to adapt to the ever-changing market. This is all underpinned with a strong ethical code of trust and family values, where the team works as one to deliver exceptional service.
National residential property experts, Centrick is forward-thinking and agile; always looking for new ways to work flexibly to meet the needs of its clients, using its strength and depth, across the property sector. By investing in talent, leading the way on industry practices, developing its technology and systems, it delivers an outstanding service to clients. Providing services across the UK, with offices in Birmingham, Solihull, Nottingham, Fareham and London, Centrick’s services include:
