Building Safety Partners

At Centrick we don’t just create information, we partner with you to achieve compliance. Navigating the landscape of funds, warranties, developer pledges and the growing number of schemes available within the Building Safety Act we connect the Building Safety Landscape together. Working closely with Fire & Rescue Services we commission and review FRAEW in line with Fire Safety Act 2021 & Annex A of BSF guidance and ensure residents are engaged at all times.

Future Facing

Centrick are represented at ARMA Building Safety Group meetings and are at the cutting edge of changes to legislation and processes coming from DLUHC and their delivery partners. Our experienced Building Safety Team work to PAS 8673 standard and have successfully navigated applications for clients on various funding models via Homes England & GLA, including feedback and consultation of barriers to remediation.

Significant, Sizeable Building Safety Reform

We are facing the largest reform of fire safety regulations for a generation and while the new Building Safety Regime and implementation of recommendations in Dame Judith Hackitt’s report are welcomed, Freeholders, resident management committees, managing agents and their clients need to be suitably skilled and agile to adapt their processes and service offerings.

Centrick have been engaged with industry leading professionals for a number of years and have navigated the variety of routes to compliance for a number of high profile schemes and clients. Centrick have successful projects on site with many more moving through Building Safety Funds, Cladding Safety Scheme and Pledged Developers.

Case Study

One of the first Building Safety Fund (BSF) applications to reach Grant Funding Agreement and start on site. £5,212,762.16 was awarded in funding.

Centrick worked with BSF to amend the process for variations and payment tranches via ARMA

Centrick worked with Easton Bevins on the Waking Watch Relief Project (WWRF) where funding was granted and the alarm system has now been installed in all 182 apartments.

Centrick have worked closely with West Midlands Fire Service to ensure the safety of residents and implemented processes for evacuation including flow charts that can be used in other buildings

The cladding contractors are on track to have all combustible materials removed by June 2022 which we hope will result in a reduced insurance premium for all Leaseholders
