Centrick secures success after ARMA accreditation audit

Leading property specialist Centrick is celebrating after another successful accreditation audit by the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA).

ARMA, the leading professional association for residential leasehold management, randomly selected four blocks of properties for its 2023 accreditation audit from Centrick’s national property management portfolio of more than 460.  Centrick, which has recently been instructed on a number of landmark sites, has been vocal in its commitment to not just ARMA standards but to raising industry standards, investing in IRPM training for all of its growing team in addition to an extensive programme of in-house learning.

Centrick managing director Phil Johns said:

“Being recognised for our success in the audit by our industry body, is a fantastic achievement and testament to both the quality of the team and the hard work they put into serving our clients and customers every single day. The audit examines all facets of our company, both the financial and operational stewardship of our business, and it’s this rigorous testing that creates confidence and trust in members and clients.

“Successfully passing the rigorous audit is key to providing comfort to those people that entrust us to look after their homes. We are extremely proud of our team and of our processes and standards that have enabled us to achieve this”

Birmingham-based Centrick, which has offices across the UK including London, Manchester, Sheffield, Southampton and Gerrards Cross delivers a range of property services in sectors including estate and building management, new homes and investment, build-to-rent, student accommodation, valuation, professional services, asset management and insolvency.

ARMA Accreditation (formerly known as ARMA-Q) is a real milestone for consumer protection in the residential leasehold sector. It is based on standards developed specifically for the leasehold property management sector and independent regulation.

ARMA was founded in 1991 to bring together professionals involved in private residential block management. Members work to high professional standards and must be part of an independent ombudsman scheme. They agree to comply with the RICS ‘Service Charge Residential Management Code’ and to abide by ARMA’s rules of membership. All ARMA members undergo an audit check within a three-year cycle with the aim to provide clear assurance to ARMA, its members, clients and leaseholders that they are compliant with the ARMA Consumer Charter and Standards. The audit process seeks to raise standards across the managing agent sector and protect the public.
