Centrick has bolstered its valuation team with the appointment of highly experienced property specialist Graham Jacobs
Graham, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the property sector, has joined the company’s new office in Southampton as consultant valuer, covering the south coast region.
He will support the valuation team in providing property valuations for secured lending purposes, focusing on HMO and development, while extending Centrick’s work for private individuals.
Katherine Nolan, director and head of valuation at Centrick’s Birmingham headquarters, said:
“It’s fantastic to welcome someone of Graham’s calibre to the Centrick valuation team and we’re looking forward to increasing our presence across the south coast region including Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and further afield.
“We established our valuation service just two years ago when the company acquired the assets of Andrew Grant Commercial and since then we have doubled our fee income and grown the team. We are going from strength to strength and developing new business relationships all the time.”
Graham said:
”It is great to be part of a vibrant forward thinking organisation. This is the start of an interesting and exciting journey.”
Graham has previously worked as development surveyor at Savills and asset manager at State Securities. Ten years ago he established Trafalgar Property Consultancy.
Centrick chairman James Ackrill said:
“Graham’s appointment is an important step forward for our highly experienced team which will now be able to provide valuations for a wide range of clients right across the south coast region. We will continue to strengthen the team as our valuation business grows.”
Centrick’s experienced team of RICS registered valuers carry out ‘Red Book’ valuations for a range of clients including banks and other financial institutions, developers, housing associations, charities, property owners and private individuals. It also works closely with other professionals including solicitors and accountants to service their clients’ requirements.
