With spring just around the corner, that can only mean one thing… it’s almost time for MIPIM 2024. After several years of attending this fantastic event, we’re excited to be travelling to Cannes again this year to connect with familiar faces, hear from global property experts and forge new connections with stakeholders, developers and clients across the industry. We’ll also be hosting a series of private, invite-only events throughout the conference to provide insights into our groundbreaking Love Where You Live research.
What is MIPIM?
MIPIM (Le Marché International des Professionnels de L’immobilier) is an annual event held in Cannes, France, every March. The event takes place over four days and includes a variety of conference sessions and networking events aimed at professionals from all sectors of the international property industry. This year, the event will take place from 12th – 15th March at the usual venue, Palais des Festivals.
MIPIM is renowned for attracting the most influential global leaders in real estate and provides a platform for investors, developers and property professionals to not only share innovation and trends but also to showcase solutions with potential partners and discover new opportunities for business success and growth.
What’s happening at MIPIM 2024?
This year’s MIPIM will host a series of conferences across six different stages allowing professionals from across the residential, commercial and industrial property sectors as well as private and institutional investors from over 90 countries to introduce their latest development projects and solutions whilst discussing new opportunities for partnerships and innovation. This year as ever there will be a variety of sessions covering topics from transport, infrastructure, regeneration, sustainability and innovation through to workshops and spotlight discussions, where attendees will be able to ask industry experts questions on their specialisms and talk to global property leaders about the future of the industry. This year, MIPIM will also host the launch of a new international housing conference, ‘Housing Matters!‘, a new summit focussed on sustainable housing solutions.
The expansive exhibition space, covering 18,700m2, will play host to more than 30 stands and 2,500 exhibitors, enabling over 22,000 attendees to browse and network at their leisure throughout the event. ‘Road to Zero’ will return to MIPIM for a second year, this exciting space combines exhibition, networking and conference space together and focuses on groundbreaking methods to help the industry achieve net zero, a subject which the team here at Centrick are passionate about and you can read more about here
Technology continues to be a key focus at MIPIM, and to support this further Propel by MIPIM will also be returning. Propel will bring together a variety of technology and solution providers who will showcase technology that aims to enhance user experience and business efficiency across the industry.
To conclude the four-day conference, the prestigious annual MIPIM Awards Ceremony will take place to recognise businesses for their outstanding contributions to the global real estate industry. The awards celebrate the most visionary, useful and sustainable projects from across the sector, and include accolades for overall sustainability, economic contribution, originality and architectural qualities.
Networking Opportunities at MIPIM 2024
MIPIM officially kicks off on the 12th March with a welcome reception for delegates to reconnect and start to build their networks. MIPIM also offers a targeted matchmaking service to connect you to new useful and relevant contacts with shared interests and goals.
